We take pride in being a locally grown company with deep roots in Puerto Rico. Over the past four decades, we’ve established ourselves as leaders in the construction industry, playing a key role in the Island’s development. While we’ve expanded to markets like Florida, our primary focus remains Puerto Rico, where the need for reconstruction after Hurricane María is critical.
Maximizing Federal Funds for Puerto Rico’s Growth
Federal funds are transforming Puerto Rico’s economy, and we are optimistic about the future. Significant resources have been allocated for infrastructure projects like road repairs and electrical grid modernization. However, bureaucracy at the local and federal levels has delayed progress.
Our commitment is clear: we want to help rebuild Puerto Rico. With so many vital projects still awaiting action, we’re ready to lead the way in driving the Island’s reconstruction efforts.
Facing Challenges and Creating Opportunities
Puerto Rico’s slower pace for project approvals compared to markets like Florida presents unique challenges. But this hasn’t stopped us from growing. Today, we employ 82 team members, and we’re actively recruiting and training more. The demand for skilled workers in construction, cable management, telecommunications, and security is high, and we’re dedicated to meeting it.
When construction projects stall, contractors often look to other industries. At Bonneville, we remain focused on strengthening the construction sector. Our team is ready to tackle the challenges ahead, ensuring that Puerto Rico benefits from the full potential of available resources.
Innovation: A Point of Pride
One of our most exciting achievements has been implementing Puerto Rico’s first IT system, modeled after similar systems in Florida. This milestone highlights our commitment to innovation and our ability to lead in emerging markets. For us, being pioneers is more than a goal—it’s part of who we are.
