We offer High-Quality Bandwidth to Service Providers

Current importance of bandwidth quality

At Bonneville, we’re committed to being at the forefront when it comes to technology. And one of the technological features we offer our clients is quality of bandwidth. An aspect that, since the beginning of the pandemic, has become a crucial element in the world.

But first things first, what is Bandwidth?

Let’s imagine a two-lane freeway, with each lane going in a different direction. A certain amount of cars can go through that freeway each minute. On a freeway with more lanes, a higher number of cars would be able to go through per minute. If we think of the cars as data, and the freeway as bandwidth, we could say that the more bandwidth there is, the more data is able to go through per minute (usually measured in Mbps or megabits per second).

We would have that with low bandwidth (256 kilobytes per second), we might be able to watch a video, but it is going to look choppy or blurry. Now, if we have a higher bandwidth, we could watch the video at a higher resolution, that is, with more definition.

Current importance of bandwidth quality

Due to the pandemic, many people have to stay at home, and for that reason, there is a higher household demand for bandwidth. Another reason demand for better bandwidth has gone up is because of the school-aged children that are taking their classes from home. Additionally, more video calls are being made. People are trying to avoid physical contact. All this generates a lot of data traffic that is trying to go through that “freeway” that we spoke about at the beginning. Therefore, a more robust bandwidth has become a necessity.

In many organizations and companies, the need for more bandwidth is something that has been commonplace for a long time. For 15 years ago approximately, data has been digitalized, and as such, higher bandwidth is required. The need for higher bandwidth has been spreading to the residential level as well.

At Bonneville, we provide support to internet service providers, both at an industrial, commercial and residential level. Many have fiber optics and wireless infrastructures, but they are in need of upscaling their infrastructure due to the progressive increase of demand. That is where Bonneville comes in. We install both fiber optics, high speed wired data, as well as wireless systems.

Why is Bonneville the best choice?

At Bonneville, we have the equipment and trained manpower bucket trucks. Cranes and infrastructure equipment for the installation of wireless units. We have teams specializing in fiber optics, both in terms of monitoring and testing for fiber continuity as well performing repairs. We understand that fiber is made of glass, and as such it can be broken. We are equipped with an array of sofisticated tools for fusion-splicing the fiber cables individually or in ribbons of 12. We provide time optimization as a result.

Aside from the  splicing equipment, we have a fiber-certification team, our own vehicles, and a highly qualified staff with more than 30 years of experience working with fiber optics to ensure you the best quality bandwidth available.

If your organization needs to improve their bandwidth, don’t hesitate to contact us, we are here to assist you.
